| Age | This program is for girls aged 6-7. This is a softball program using parent pitch and batting tees. |
| Games/Practices | U7 starts in the first or second week of May and runs every Tuesday and Thursday. The season is generally 8 weeks in length. |
| Location | All practices/games are played in Carman at the new diamonds on Sexsmith Drive. |
| Things to Bring | glove, hat, water bottle, suitable running shoes or cleats (a helmet is recommended) |
| Things Provided | Helmets, bats, bases, balls, tees, first aid kits |
| Structure | The first half hour of practice is focused on skill development followed by a game. A mechanical pitching machine is used during the game to prepare kids to face live pitching machines in the U9 age division. Each child bats every inning, there are outs, but runs are not counted. |
| Coaching | Parents are required to coach! Resources are provided by CMB and Softball Manitoba to enable anyone to be a coach. |
